ADVANCED WHEELS OF TECHNOLOGY, INC (ADVANCED WHEELS)
DBE Annual Overall Percentage Goal for 2023-2024 (Federal Fiscal Year 2024)
The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), through the Federal Transit Administration and the Office of Civil Rights, manages the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program. The aim of the DBE program is to ensure nondiscrimination in the award and administration of federally funded assisted contracts. Each DOT-assisted State and local transportation agency is required to establish DBE goals. The DOT-assisted agencies establish contract-specific DBE goals, where these goals are needed to ensure nondiscrimination in federally-assisted procurements. Advanced Wheels are a modifier of commercial passenger vans. Located in East Granby, CT, announced its Federal FY 2024 (October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024) DBE goal of 1.2% as required by 49 CFR Part 26 as it applies to qualified and certified DBEs on DOT-assisted contracts. Potential suppliers should have experience with providing Department of Transportation (DOT) materials such as lighting, DOT safety equipment, automotive hardware and body parts, fasteners, and electrical supplies. All interested parties should have proof of certification and compliant documentation to be considered. Please contact Ed Basile at (860) 653-8064 or by email at ed@advancedwheels.com. Qualified DBE owners are encouraged to respond.
