My experience with Advanced Wheels was great! I did the CT disabled driver training program, and my instructor recommended Mobility Works and Advance Wheels as his top two options. I called Mobility Works first, but I left several messages with no response and was playing phone tag for days, so I eventually filled out Advanced Wheels’ online inquiry form one night and got a call the next day! I returned Jim’s voicemail and he picked up right away, and I got my appointment scheduled right then. I had to wait a few weeks, but it was SO worth it. Stretch (technician) was willing to stay a few minutes late since my boyfriend (who was driving me to pick up my car) doesn’t get out of work until a half hour before AW closes, and he was very polite, friendly, and thorough. I really felt like all the staff I interacted with at AW (via phone and in person) really care about what they do and that AW as a whole aren’t trying to upsell or overcharge for their services. I got a removable left foot accelerator installed in my new-to-me 2021 RAV4 hybrid for $1095 including taxes etc. Pricing was very transparent (I was quoted $1095 over the phone) which I really appreciated! I recently started driving again after being hit by a drunk driver two years ago followed by 9 months in the hospital, and regaining this independence was a MASSIVE step forward for me. If it’s service even if you didn’t buy a van from im, then also count on Jason to go out of his way to satisfy your needs. Here’s my story: We bought a BraunAbility Van from a private party without being given a detailed tutorial of its critical functions. After getting it home I was concerned about the safety of my wife and my ability to drive it with confidence. I called Jason at Advanced Wheels to set up an appointment to bring it in, but instead he offered to visit me at my home which is close by his office. He went over everything in detail and simple terms that even I could understand and we easily got my wife in her wheelchair into the passenger side. All the safety belts and restraints were then attached and we were ready to safely take our first spin. My level of assurance couldn’t be higher after experiencing his in depth knowledge, professionalism and patience in dealing with my wife and I - who were terribly anxious about navigating the BraunAbility features of our new van. After saying I wished I bought a vehicle from him, he said it was his pleasure to help us regardless. It’s definite that Advanced Wheels will always service our van and anytime I have an opportunity to recommend him and his company I will. It’s the least I can do for an all around nice guy, who went above and beyond to help a couple intimidated by the complexity of a vehicle they needed to begin enjoying their lives once again. 5 stars for these guys!! My daughter is wheelchair bound and her high school prom was coming up. So being the cool mom that I am, i was o the search for a limo or party bus so she could ride in style. It was important for me to be able to transport her power wheelchair so she didnt need someone to push her around the whole night. To my disappointment, none of the companies I contacted had something that could transport her power wheelchair. I stopped into Wheels and they saved the day. They hooked us up with a fancy Chrysler Pacifica for the night. Their enthusiasm to help and kind and caring customer service skills made this experience even better. Price to rent the van for the night was 100 times more affordable than a limousine service too. My daughter had a great time at her prom and was able to move around on her own thanks to Wheels. Great service, and honest! They fixed the wheelchair lift in a van that was donated to me. They let me know what I did and didn't need tohave done and the cost to repair things was more than reasonable. Update on previous rating. We had a problem with rust on a metal strip covering the underside of the braun conversion. Advanced wheel servicemen qickly identified the source of the problem, sanded down the superficial rust, primed and repainted the piece. No cost to us as it was underwarranty. Very happy that they stepped in and resolved the problem. Van looks as good as new! Show Less
Salesman was wonderful at the point of purchase. He promised they would help us with resale should we want that after vehicle was no longer in need&perio; Despite repeated requests about the possibility of reselling the vehicle in 2020, we did not get a response from the company. We had purchased a new Toyota Sienna in 2018 with a Braun Extended floor. 4 years later, the bottom rear of the floor is rusting horribly. There's a thin black coating that is peeling off with nothing but rust underneath. Please let me know if I can share photos Show Less
Fantastic service! Rich the manager and Aaron the mechanic are both excellent. They found and installed a scooter/wheelchair lift for my car at nder the expected price and one that has even more features than I had hoped for. They also were able to on-the-fly get the lift connection adjusted. They delivered the lift and install faster than expected. I am used to delays of months for wheelchair related items but they got the lift in in about 2 weeks start to finish. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get a wheelchair into a car or for adaptations for driving. Show Less

This is the second conversion I have purchased in the last 14 months, but the first from Advanced Wheels. I had initially come to Advanced Wheels fllowing the purchase of a conversion from a different company, one located in NC. The staff at Advanced Wheels could not have been more helpful first when I needed a frame for my wheelchair in that vehicle, then with making repairs to various malfunctioning features of that vehicle. When my assistant brought the old vehicle in so that a non-functioning ramp could be made usable again, she was shown courtesy and was also shown the vehicles which Advanced Wheels now is selling. When my assistant came home with a brochure demonstrating the Pacifica, I called Lisa and expressed interest. Lisa drove the vehicle to my home, an hour away, arriving in just an hour and a half.
